Regularly clean your jewellery. By regularly cleaning your jewellery can prevent the oxidation process, & avoid the build-up of oils, dirt and residue that can be harmful to gold plating. Use a soft cloth & never use metal polish or cleaners. Avoid contact with saltwater, cosmetics, hair products, perfumes or chemicals. Saltwater is the enemy. Store jewellery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Do not store your jewellery in a humid closed environment. All metals will naturally soften, fade and oxidise with time and will require cleaning and maintenance.
