Sustainability & Governance Statement

At Assembly Label, we are committed to upholding high standards of ethical and sustainable practice across our supply chain. Our CEO, together with the Head of Production, oversees the implementation of supply chain policies that address human rights and environmental sustainability. These policies ensure our suppliers operate in alignment with our standards for fair labour practices, gender equality, animal welfare, and environmental responsibility.

Our Sustainability Committee brings together representatives from across the business - including Product, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Merchandise and Operations - ensuring accountability and a holistic perspective. The committee’s role is to collaborate on opportunities to improve our practices, identify meaningful initiatives, and support responsible decision-making across the organisation.

To strengthen this work, we have appointed an in-house Sustainability Coordinator with a background in environmental science. Working closely with the Sustainability Committee, this role is responsible for identifying opportunities to reduce our environmental impact, establishing sustainability goals, and supporting the implementation of these initiatives across the business.

Oversight of sustainability policies and initiatives sits with our Board, comprised of our founders, CEO and CFO. Meeting monthly, the Board ensures transparency, accountability, and ongoing progress inour sustainability commitments. Through this governance structure, Assembly Label aims to drive meaningful improvements and contribute positively to the communities we work with and the environment we share.
